There are two main ways to effectively know what is right for you. And then there is the way that takes forever.
The way that takes forever is the method used by most people. You search google, you ask people, you assess and analyze. You learn by trial and error.
For example, with diets for health. You try one and see if it works. If it doesn't work, you try another one. And you keep shifting things around.
Or you might analyze a choice for a decision in your life. You try it out and then it fails so you try another one. I've done this with decisions in my life. It sometimes takes months or years to figure out that it was the wrong path. And then you have to clean it up.
For me, I did that with relationships, and it's why I don't have children today. That, by the way, is one of the saddest things for me in my life. But that is a story for another time.
For now, I know that I knew what I wanted in my heart, but followed the actions that I figured out with my brain, and it didn't get me where I wanted. It also got me to be really sick in the past.
The other way works much better. That's meditation and prayer. For my definition, prayer is where you talk to God and meditation is where God talks to you.
By taking the time to listen, you'll know if the path is right. There does need to be analysis in there to avoid it being wishful thinking. But do your research, then check in with God. When in doubt, stressed, unsure, confused (etc), God's got your back.
The other way to listen is with muscle testing. It's a natural biofeedback method that allows you to connect directly to God. It's quicker than prayer and meditation. It can be learned by anyone and is a great tool. Getting trained in how to use it is the best way to get started with it.
So, when in doubt. Pray and meditate. You'll get your answers!
In the late 1990s, I began enduring a level of suffering I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Over the course of figuring out what was wrong with myself, I discovered some elementary truths about disease and decline that can be fixed and, even better-reversed.
It's simple, really. And best done by working with how our bodies were designed (which is perfeclty, btw). I'm sharing my reflections, insights and recommendations with you so that you can figure it out for yourself well before the twenty years that I spent on it.
Or even better, stop it before it starts. The health information can work for anyone.
When I started my journey, I was suffering so much that I could just focus on what I knew - which was following the path laid out the medical system. I finally left that system.
Part of health is having a deep and abiding peace of mind. I'll share my reflections here. I hope this blog inspires you to live an ever healthier, happier, and joy filled life. And please, learn from my failures and trials.
